I have taken many work PC’s and laptops to Tan and the Alpha team for many years now. Virus issues, hard drives, cracked screens, circuit boards… they do it all. They always take great care of us and get us back up and running. Highly recommended!
My Dell Inspiron had a major video card problem, Dell tried everything and determined that I had a software problem, which wasn’t covered under my plan. I’m technically clueless (see above) but I wasn’t convinced it wasn’t a video card problem. So back to Alfa I went. They took it in overnight, ran some tests and confirmed it wasn’t software. He took an extra step and took a picture of the screen error get got with his cell phone and sent it to me. I picked it up and with his assessment and documentation I called Dell back and now have a new video card AND motherboard. He charged his flat rate fee of $45.00. A very small price to pay.
Before I left with the Dell we did talk about the option of buying a new laptop from him, he took the time to hear what I wanted and made a recommendation. I never felt pressured, and he offered to roll the $45 into the new purchase.
